👋 I'm Chris.
I'm not doing this from the sidelines. I'm still working full time, leading marketing and technology across New Zealand and Australia.
My path went from market research into management consulting, then into a cross-functional career across marketing, digital strategy and product. Friends and family started asking me for advice, and that turned into CareerMate.
Since starting, I've helped people land roles in new industries, start side businesses, and get their confidence back after a rough patch. I run CareerMate as my own small business too, so I know what it's like to wear every hat. I'm based in Auckland and I'm an internationally certified professional coach with the ICC.
Before you book
What can you honestly promise?
A clear picture of where you stand, a practical plan, and someone in your corner while you act on it. I can't promise a job offer or a sales target, and no honest coach can. If you're not getting the outcome you expected after a programme, I'll offer further sessions free of charge.
Do I need to pick a service before the call?
No. Tell me what's going on, and we'll work out together whether career coaching, business coaching, or neither is the right fit.
What does it cost?
The Next Move Call is free. Career coaching is $179 per 60-minute session, or $499 for the three-session CareerMate Programme. Small business coaching is $249 per 60-minute session. Both are pay as you go, with no lock-in contracts.
Are sessions online?
Yes, live online, so you can join from anywhere in New Zealand or Australia. If you're in Auckland, we can meet in person too.
